16-13 Win Keeps The Dream Alive

The Redskins advanced to 7-7 Sunday in a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-10). Josh Johnson, the 4th starting Quarterback of the season for the Washington Football club went 16/25 for 151 yards with 1 TD. Johnson also added 49 rushing yards in his first career win at age 32. TheRedskins showed fight as Jon Allen and Ryan Kerrigan refused to quit after having the house dropped on them just one week ago. Kerrigan forced an early fumble out of the Jags QB Cody Kessler, Allen seemed as if he was responsible for every one of the Skins six sacks. The whole story of the game came down to two plays, one of which was when Johnson attempted to reach Jamison Crowder on a deep pass over the middle that was batted right into the hands of Crowder. The deep ball gave the Redskins an opportunity to strike which they took advantage of, with Johnsons only TD pass of the day that found tight end, Jeremy Sprinkle. The other game defining play was Cody Kessler being intercepted by Fabian Moreau, giving the Redskins the ball back with the opportunity to win the game.It wasn’t pretty by any means but this 16-13 win put the Redskins at 7-7, and keeps them alive.
