Clemson comes to town for the Last Time

It was the last time the Tigers came to Byrd.  I talked to some Clemson media that are sorry to see the rivalry end as the Terps move out of the ACC.

Clemson feels like an outsider to the ACC as well.  The fan base looks longingly towards the SEC and has a good deal of dismay towards the All Carolina Conference.

Clemson fans look at the DC area as a vacation area.  I imagine that the B1G fans will look at the Terps the same way.  A chance to come to the DC area and see the Capitol.  Or come to Baltimore for the Inner Harbor.

I have always looked at Clemson as a football power.  Even with all of their football foibles of consistently being in the top 10 and then losing to Wake, State or the Terps.  Clemson always seems to be over-rated.

Another rivalry ends.  For football and the ACC, the only ones that I will miss are GT and UVA.  Maybe Clemson.

On the field, the Syracuse game becomes a big deal.  A chance for the now 5-3 Terps to get the 6th win and become bowl eligible.

Here is the TerpTalk pre-game show, including the interview with the Clemson Tiger.
