This weekend the area teams face big challenges in a pair of very important games.
This week at high noon (ugh) the Terps (5-4) will face off against Indiana (4-5) in Bloomington in what many consider to be a must-win game for the Matt Canadas squad if they want to make a bowl game. Marylanders all around the state have had their eyes on this program for all the wrong reasons this fall and if the Terps can get win #6 it would be BIG.
The Redskins enter Sunday’s showdown with Tampa at 5-3, last week was not pretty a 31-14 loss to Atlanta at home and the pain did not stop there this week the team learned of injuries to Brandon Scherff, Morgan Moses, and Shawn Lauvao along with the already injured Trent Willams. With all of that being said Tampa Bay still has a proficient passing offense to the likes of both New Orleans and Atlanta this could be another long Sunday for Redskin fans.
