The Tournament is a Holiday

To the left is Miss Kathy. She is the lead teacher for both Jor and Mo. This is from Friday, before West Virginia lost to Dayton. She was leaving school early to watch the game.

Tournament time brings out the best in all of us, doesn’t it?

Yesterday (Thursday) Jor and Mo left school early to watch the Terps spank Cal. I don’t know of another event that adults (never mind kids) just disappear en-mass from the office and its “ok”. Yesterday I found about 75 folks awol from the office at the Orangeball bar in Rockville.

Today, my office was popular because I had the CBS Sportsline feed on my big screen. I got to watch the end of the early games, two of which were legit buzzer beaters. Then I had to go pick up the kids from school, where to my surprise, they were watching the touney on the CBS internet feed as well.

I came home to finish up some work and the kids immediatley went to watch the 2nd half of the WVU game. Jor wanted to get the computer fired-up to watch the Pitt v Eastern Tennessee State game. As you all know, the 16 seed ETSU could not finish the deal against Pitt. But Dayton, the 11 seed, closed out WVU. Our condolences to Miss Kathy 🙁
