365 days of road wins – Go Terps

In about 365 days, Maryland has gone on the road and beaten Virginia Tech, Penn State and Michigan.  For a Terp fan, that is an incredible list of wins.

As I write this, the team is a victory over Rutgers away from an 8-4 inaugural season in the B1G.

I have to interject my feelings into this post. For most of my life, Maryland lost these games.  It is such an emotional high to win these games.  It was a bucket list win to beat VT last year.  It was a great moment to be a Terp and to leave the ACC with a signature win.

The win over Penn State and Coach Frank (who I used to love) was the first game that I cried when we won.  I have waited so long to beat PSU.

Beating Michigan was really good, because it was Michigan.  On the road.  In a must win game for the Wolverines.

No, these are not the VT, PSU and Michigan of old. But they are great college football brands.  With tons of money.

No matter how the programs are right now, the fact is that Maryland won the games.  With Randy at coach and CJ at quarterback.  Now we have the new Cole Field House to look forward to.

I am proud to be a Terp this morning (although I always am, just a little more so today).  I look forward to beating Rutgers next week and (win or lose) going to a great bowl game.
