A Friday morning quickie. The Capitals won in overtime last night, 4 -3 in their first preseason game. Beat the Buffalo Sabers.
The Terps seemed really worried about the MTSU speed and spread offense. I don’t know if this is a smoke screen or for real. I fear it is for real. Bruce Campbell, Jamari McColluogh and Nolan Carroll out for the Terps.
Tony Logan still not returning punts, look for Kenny Tate and Wiseman to be the returners for another week. There is a possibility of Caleb Porzel (freshman from Good Counsel) getting into the mix once his thigh bruise clears up.
By the way, in a big high school football clash, Good Counsel (Olney, MD) beat Gilman (Baltimore) on the new field turf surface at GC last night.
