I guess this is the last post for Duke week. The DC area is fired up about this one. So is ESPN.
I have never seen a game this sold out before. Last evening there were 4 tickets available on StubHub and none on Ebay. Out of 18,000 seats (ok 17,950) there were only 4 tickets for sale. Amazing!!
OyVey, the prices were through the roof. On average $450 a ticket up to $700. That is per seat.
I am keeping mine and heading over with the little people early. I am reminded of games with Bias and Michael Jordan, Stevie Francis and Duke in 1998, 2001 “Gone in 58 Seconds”, and 2002 beating Duke and the last game at Cole.
I think this is the biggest game at Comcast Center, ever! All the stars (Juan Dixon is already there) and all the recruits. Both football and basketball recruits are in-house by the boatload. What a great night for Maryland.
