I am really looking forward to going to Cole tonight for Maryland Madness.
Where did all the time go? Basketball already? 12 years or since we played at Cole? I am overcome by the significance to me of playing again at Cole. It is my favorite venue of all time. I love the feel of the place, I still go there and sit in the seats and reminisce about days gone by.
The conference started in 1953, I just realized that the games in the early 70’s were played 17 years after the conference was created. Now it has been 50 years. That is a lot of history. The best games of my Terrapin memories were from Cole. Festivities tip-off at 6:30p.
I am really looking forward playing a real game at Cole next season.
As for football, the game at Wake Forest is a big one because it could be our 6th win. The Terps have another injury hit, as backup LB Alex Twine is now out. Alex was starting because Matt Robinson is now injured. Getting his first start with be freshman Cavon Walker (#39).
The TerpTalk gang will be at the game. Game is at 3:30p on ESPNU.
