It was good to be at a happy Gossett Team House yesterday. What a difference a win makes. I had a chance to talk with LA Goree, Sal Conaboy, and Marcus Whitfield.
For me it was a great win that the program needed. Now it is on to Wake. Although the wind is still out of the sails for fan enthusiasm due to the Florida State game, the chance to be bowl eligible is on the horizon.
I will get down to Winston Salem for the game. It is going to be a great Terps sports weekend with Maryland Madness at Cole, Terps football at Wake and Terps soccer at Wake as well.
Not bad for a Saturday. Sunday features the Bears at the Redskins and Ravens at the Steelers.
Back the Terps football, the coach and the team all want to pass the UVA game off as just another win, just another game. If the Terps did not beat UVA, we would all be talking about a collapse and if the Terps can possibly get to six wins.
