I LOVE THEM – Great Uniforms Under Armour

I loved the uni’s when the team walked, ran and leaped out of the tunnel and ran to the student section. I love’m now.

They make the Terps different. In fact, national newsworthy. Best marketing campaign in a long time. Best Maryland marketing EVER.

As a uniform, they are a living, breathing Maryland flag. We are the only school of which I am aware that uses the state flag as part of their uniform. As a long-time Terp, I have thought that we should wear the flag for years. Seeing it come true is fantastic.

Terps love the Maryland flag. I have always thought it was the best flag I have ever seen. It is a recognized symbol of our Maryland and is a combination of the colors of that truly represent the history of the state.

It also gives the Terps four true team colors. We don’t need to invent an extra color as other teams have had to add black or grey as an alternate color (Think Oregon or Duke).  I think Under Armour did a wonderful and bold design that shows our historic colors in a wonderful way.

By the way, rarely have I witnessed so much attention bestowed on anything that was not a tragedy.  No one died, this isn’t a hurricane (although we did beat them) or even really important.  Holy cow,  how did little Maryland’s football uniforms become the talk of the nation?
