Redskins Injury Report: Tackle Geron Chrisitian Tears MCL

In this edition of “are you freaking kidding me?!?” the Redskins have lost another offensive lineman in swing tackle Geron Christian Sr. Although he wasn’t starting, Christian was expected to be the first man off the bench if another starter went down. With Geron out the Redskins will turn to recent free agent signee Austin Howard to back up Ty Nsekhe and Morgan Moses.

In Other News:

Jamison Crowder still working his was back after missing five straight since injuring his ankle against the Saints. Jay Gruden said that he will receive an MRI this week, may be able to practice as soon as friday.

Quinton Dunbar’s injury is still a mystery in Ashburn. He still can’t run at speed, maybe it’ll work itself this week, maybe not.

In the positive category: Trey Quinn may be activated this week. Would be a welcome addition for a group needing some depth.
