Big win, huge win on Sunday for Coach Tillman’s lax squad. Maryland overwhelms the UNC Tar Heels 14-7 and it was a runaway from the get go.
It was especially sweet for the Terps to beat an ACC team. In Maryland’s first trip to postseason in their 1st season in the B1G, it was great to take down an old foe.
Maryland is 2-0 against the Tar Heels this season.
As for next week, Maryland gets a second shot at Johns Hopkins. The Blue Jays have been a on heck of a roll, winning the B1G tournament, beating Virginia and then Syracuse to get to the Final 4 in Philadelphia.
