Terps Outlook
I have heard and read that the Terps are slated for the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville on Jan 2, 2015 at 3:20p and shown on ESPN. The opponent would be Auburn.
Auburn is 8-3 with the Iron Bowl game versus Alabama on the horizon. It would be fair to think that Alabama would be favored.
I have Maryland beating Rutgers this Saturday making the Terps 8-4. So it would be a battle of the 8-4 teams on Jan 2. Auburn would have to be favored over the Terps.
Playoff
The college football bowl selection show will be on Dec 7 at 12:45p and carried on ESPN. This is for the final four playoff teams. The two playoff games are at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl.
The National Championship is January 12, 2015 at the Cowboy’s Stadium.
By 3p the other four New Years Bowls are to be announced (Cotton, Fiesta, Orange, Chick-Fil-A). Some have Ohio State targeted for the Cotton Bowl.
The B1G Bowl season
Kicks off with Heart of Dallas Bowl on 12/26.
Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit on 12/26.
New Era Pinstripe Bowl, NYC 12/27.
Holiday Bowl, San Diego 12/27.
Music City Bowl, 12/30.
Foster Farms Bowl (Levi’s Stadium), 12/30.
Orange Bowl (B1G possibility, but not for Maryland), 12/31.
Outback Bowl, Tampa 1/1. Possible for Wisconsin.
Citrus Bowl, Orlando 1/1. Possible for Minnesota.
Rose Bowl (only for B1G if a playoff team for this year) 1/1.
TaxSlayer Bowl (Terps!!??) 1/2.
