Terps Spring Forward

Looking at the Spring Football game, 2014 edition, I was impressed by the offense.  You can see speed all over the field.

For the wide outs, Taivon Jacobs looked good in the scrimmage, but he is a smaller boundary side wide out.  The bigger receivers like Culmer, Amba Etta and Daniel Adams looked really good as well.  DeAndre Lane looked very quick as the slot receiver.

At running back Brandon Ross and Jaquille Veii looked to be the best of the bunch.

Diggs and Long get a lot of field time on the 7 on 7 passing drills that occurred before the scrimmage.

Looking at the four qb’s, all of them got some snaps.  We are especially looking at Shane Cockerille, who will be a red shirt freshman in the fall.  He wears #2 for the Terps and is a player that we (TerpTalk gang) have been following while at Gilman.

Others in the game were CJ Brown, Perry Hills and Caleb Rowe.

Here is a little of what we had to say about the game
