Terrapin Minute for Monday

From Saturday – I had a chance to get on the field before the game. It was cool to see the warm-ups at field level. Unfortunately, I could not take the rest of the gang of 3 (Mason and Jordan) down onto the field with me.

I took some great pictures and am still sorting them all out. I will get the treasure trove of Terp images posted by Tuesday. On the right is Chris Turner up close.

Now onto the game. I thought it was impressive that the team kept coming back. Whether the opponent was JMU or USC, the point is that there were several give up moments in the game. The interception for a TD or the 70 yard QB sneak.

As the game went on, the offensive line started to block better. However, the defense started to wear out. As usual, the Terps will get it together as the season takes shape. I think that a 3 – 1 record as Clemson comes to town is likely.

Jordan and Mason got to see their first, in person overtime game. Below are two images of the Ferrera field-goal.

It was good ending to an interesting game.

  1. Wayne- you're such a positive guy- way to keep up hope with the Terps- too bad this year is a major disappointment for me already- I had hoped with a senior quarterback and an all-acc type backfield, and a new defensive coordinator, the terps would break through this year.

What happened to everyone saying Cosh sucked? I thought he was the reason our D sucked? This new guy is worse so far. And the o-line is completely sabotaging our senior QB and skilled rb's. Devastating. When do we implement the Virginia Tech admission requirements for our recruits??
