Turtle Thursday 9 17 2009

We can start off with the big moment from last week’s UVA v TCU game in Charlottsville. Did you know the mascot fell off the horse? That is how you know Virginia is having a really bad season. After losing to William and Mary, they then played #12 TCU. UVA lost the game 30-14 and here is how it started for the Cavaliers…

On the Terp front, there sure are a lot of tickets for sale from season ticket holders for Saturday’s 3:30p kickoff against Middle Tennessee State. I will chalk that up to the game being played on the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s).

Tickets are in demand for the following week as the state university of New Jersey comes to College Park. Rutgers v Terps is a big draw. Looking for a packed house next week.

Cameron Chism (#22) is making his first start at cornerback for the Terps this week. Also look for 4-star freshmen rush end Isiah Ross (Eleanor Roosevelt in Greenbelt) to play a bit.

More on the Terps tomorrow and pictures from the game for Monday’s edition.

  1. Mascot could've been impaled, but funny stuff!

FYI, ERHS is actually in Greenbelt, but thanks for the Lanham "shout out." -SJ ; )
