We all will be Ravens fans next week

Oh My – two posts in a row about the NFL, what is this world coming to?

Last week there was a divide between my readers, some are Redskins and some are Ravens.  Next week, since the Ravens play the Giants, I believe all will be rooting for the Ravens.

The Redskins need the Giants to lose at least one game and have the Redskins keep winning.  If both teams finish with the same record, the Redskins hold the tie-breaker. If that is the case, the Redskins win the NFC East.

Here are some of the key teams and their last three regular season games:

The Giants finish with the: @ Falcons, @ Ravens, and host the Eagles.

The Redskins finish with: @ Browns, @ Eagles and host the Cowboys.

The Cowboys finish with: host the Steelers (4:25p), host the Saints and @ Redskins.

The Ravens finish with: host the Broncos, host the Giants (4:25p) and @ Bengals.

If you are a Redskins fan, you can make a case for the Giants 8-5 losing a game, and the Cowboys losing a game.  Both the Redskins and Cowboys are 7-6, the Redskins have the tie-breaker there as well.

I am also looking for the Ravens to win at least two.  I really hope they can take down the Giants.  It would be a great help to the Redskins.  The Ravens will be up against two Mannings in a row at quarterback.  Peyton this week and Eli next week.

Maryland (my usual topic) has a basketball game on Wednesday hosting Monmouth.  Then the Terps are off for finals until Dec 21st when Stony Brook comes to Comcast Center.
