Terps Get the Win

It sure was a close one yesterday.  We were sitting at the Navy end of the field, so it was right in front of us.  What a goal line stand!  The Terps have been on the losing end of too many of these types of football games over the past few years.

Maybe the tides have turned for the Terps.  One game does not make the season and there was enough offensive sputtering to worry the fanbase.  However, it was the type of win that you can build your season upon.

The “Littles” (not so little anymore) loved going to Ravens Stadium and seeing the great Navy fans and Cadets.  For a football fan, it was a fantastic day for the State and should be the opening game every year.

Looking forward, the Terps host Morgan St. at 6p on Saturday and then travel to WVU for a 12p kickoff on ESPNU.  Then FIU comes to Byrd Stadium followed by Duke.  Even if there is a loss to WVU, one could look to be 4 and 1 heading into tougher ACC play.

  1. Awesome day for a football game. Wish I had gone. I can not believe we won. Can not wait to tailgate at Bird this season. Go Terps!
